TMCC strategy

Tokyo, the largest urban center of the world, is becoming increasingly culturally diverse. Our strategic goal is to start a multicultural church with multiple language congregations on the east side of Tokyo.

We plan to begin with Japanese and English congregations, and then add other language congregations. Each language congregation will have its own leadership, either lay and pastoral, and will form its own leadership team.

We will complete laying the foundation for this exciting church planting project by July 2010. During our home assignment from August 2010 to September 2011, we plan to recruit partners. Lord willing, we will begin our first worship services at TMCC in the fall of 2011.

The website of TMCC is tokyochurch.org. The current purpose of the site is to help develop strategy for this project. It includes an interactive blog, open to participation by our partners.
