kanto evangelistic english program (KEEP)

Under Dale's guidance, three churches on the eastern side of Tokyo and the western side of Chiba Prefecture began the KEEP partnership in 2008 between their churches and the Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission. "Kanto" means greater Tokyo. The EFCCM sends short term tentmaking outreach English class teachers to these churches. The program provides the missionaries with housing, an adequate salary, and necessary in-country expenses.

About 80 students, mostly unbelievers, are enrolled in these English conversation classes each week. They learn not only English, but also and most importantly, they are taught Bible content with a focus on Jesus and the gospel.
