Pray for the Tokyo Littles -- PTL #49: July 29, 2010 Tokyo Multicultural Church - Give thanks that the English Department of MCC (Musashino Chapel Center (Tokyo)) has become the primary partner church for our next church planting project: Tokyo Multicultural Church (TMCC) and that a church planting planning committee has been formed.
- Ask God to lead us to individual and church partners for TMCC during our upcoming one year home assignment so we can begin worship services in the fall of 2011.
- Ask God to make TMCC into a dynamic, multi-ethnic church that will display the richness of God's wisdom and grace to Tokyo and Asia.
Our children - Now that Matthew has graduated from high school in Tokyo, all three of our children will be at three different universities in the fall (Texas and California). Ask God to help each one in their transitions.
Home assignment (Aug/2010 ~ Aug/2011) - Ask God to give us special strength during August 2010 as we leave Tokyo on August 2, settle our children in their respective US universities by August 23, and then move to Maine by the end of the month.
- Give thanks that Dale was able to get his US immigrant visa in Tokyo on July 27--just in the nick of time!
- Ask God to provide a vehicle for our home assignment.
- Ask God to supply a rental house/apartment in Portland Maine beginning September.
- We want to visit all our supporting churches and individuals while on home assignment! Pray that we will be able to set up our fall and winter church visit schedule by mid-September.
